Kylemore House has a fascinating history.

Kylemore House has a fascinating history. Originally built within the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey it still retains the healing atmosphere of those distant days, and promises visitors a peaceful and healing stay. Kylemore House first appears on a map drawn of the Abbey ruins in 1723. In later years it was described as being two houses, with a large green in front, while in the 19th and early 20th century it was used as a doctor’s surgery. The house is now surrounded by a secret garden and has much of the original Georgian charm.
